Congratulations Premier Clayton Shockers Senior Hip Hop

Congratulations to the Premier Clayton Shockers Senior Hip Hop Team!  The Shocker Dance team consists of 19 members and 2 alternates all of whom attended the Cheersport Nationals on February 6^th and 7^th.  Cheersport is the largest cheerleading competition in the World!  Over 900 cheer and dance teams attend the event.  The Shockers had 13 teams and their respective division and over 25 teams competing who were eligible to Receive bids to the Dance Worlds in Orlando, FL.  After Saturday’s performance the Shockers found themselves in 3^rd place only a half point behind 2^nd place.  The girls decided that they were going to perform the best that could and move up to 2^nd place.  And that is exactly what they did.  They had a great performance on Sunday and when it came time for awards the Shockers moved up to 2^nd place and received the partial paid bid.  In dance the partial paid bid is the highest bid that you can receive and only about 15 or so are given to all of the teams in the country!

The Clayton Shockers will be the first Senior Hip Hop team from Premier Athletics and the State of North Carolina to receive a partial paid bid and to attend the Dance Worlds!  They Premier Clayton Shockers are very excited and proud to represent Premier Athletics and NC at Worlds!
