Athlete Safety and Protection Premier Athletics takes the safety and wellbeing of its athletes very seriously. Below is a list of credentials, training, and more that we require of the Premier Athletics staff. 1 – Premier Athletics background checks every employee and continues to do so every two years. 2 – Heads Up Concussion Certification 3 – CPR/First Aid Certified staff onsite 4 – Affidavit of Good Moral Character 5 - PACE training – Premier Athletics provides virtual monthly training sessions for all staff to continue their training and education, in addition to a yearly in person training. Topics include but are not limited to: Safety Spotting Leadership Motivation Personal Development and Growth Effective Lesson Planning, Classes, and Training Culture In addition to the above: All Star Team Coaches and anyone outside of the Premier Athletics organization who works with our team athletes must be members of the USASF which include the following requirements: Additional USASF Background checks through NCIS SafeSport Training Abide by the USASF Professional Responsibility Code Professional Membership USASF ATHLETES FIRST Gymnastics Team Coaches and anyone outside the Premier Athletics organization who works with our team athletes must be members of the USAG which include the following requirements: Additional USAG Background checks through NCIS SafeSport Training Safety and Risk Management Course Fundamentals of Gymnastics Instruction Course Professional Membership USAG PARENT INFO School Team Coaches will also be AACCA certified and follow USA Cheer Guidelines USA CHEER INFO
